General Rules of the School

  •   The School hours are from 9AM to 2 PM. Pupils must be on the school premises at 8-40AM. (Subject to change).
  •   To acquire greater facility in the study of English; English only should be spoken in the school premises.
  •   Any kind of misconduct or indiscipline even outside the school premises or any habit or behavior prejudicial to the good name of the institution are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
  •   No books, periodicals, newspapers etc. of an objectionable nature should be brought into the school.
  •   Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Ornaments and jewelers of any kind are not allowed in the school. To prevent the loss of articles, umbrellas, raincoats, tiffin carriers etc. should be marked with name of the child.
  •   Every child attending the school is obliged to take part in all the extra curricular activities of the school as part of their civic training and no one will be excused except valid reasons.
  •   Parents/Guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers during school hours.
  •   Certificates, concession forms, recommendation letter etc. will be issued only two days after the application has been submitted in the school.
  •   Each and every student must possess a school calendar which should be brought to school daily.
  •   Any damage done to the school property should be made good by the pupil concerned.
  •   Students Must come in their normal School uniforms for all occasions of school (Except Saraswati Puja)
  •   Parents and guardians are requested to see that their children attend school punctually.
  •   Parents should check the school record book regularly and note the teacher's remarks.
  •   Pupils are not allowed to bring cell phones, cameras, ipods, walkmans, money or any other valuable goods to school.
  •   Students are not permitted to attend school wearing any jewelers or expensive items. The school will not be hold any responsibility for the loss of such items.
  •   Regular attendance is very essential for every student. At least 75% of attendance will be taken into consideration while granting promotion.
  •   School will not take responsibility for the safety and security of the child in the school premises if the child is not picked up immediately by the guardian after the school is over.
  •   Parents are requested to leave/collect their ward at the school gate only.
  •   Children are required to come to school in a proper and clean uniform. A shabbily and improper dressed student is liable to be sent back home. Boys must have a proper hair cut and should not keep long hair.
  •   Stealing fellow student's article and money is a very serious offence and will invite disciplinary action.
  •   Students are not allowed to eat chewing-gum betel, betel nut or any other spicy tidbits.
  •   This is a co-educational institute; hence a strict moral code of conduct has to be maintained. Any student involved in any immoral act. Use of vulgar language, writing letters, passing remarks converting names etc. considered to be an act of gross indiscipline which may lead to the expulsion of a particular students from the school.
  •   Though every possible care is taken for the safety of the children while at school, still a child may get injured due to an accident. Therefore, school cannot be held responsible for injury caused through an accident in the school campus, School bus, sports, picnics, excursions or any such other activity.
  •   The gate into school compound will remain open only at fixed times. Parents/Guardians should adhere to such things. The gatekeeper will only be available at the gate when gate is open.
  •   Perfect discipline should be maintained while travelling in the school bus, fighting, shouting, jutting out any part of the body outside the bus windows, standing on the open bus door, dismounting from the running bus is a grave of discipline and will invite danger. Parents should educate their wards in this regard properly. School will not be responsible if any student gets injured by violating this rule.
  •   The decision of the school authority in matters of discipline is final and binding.
  •   Check your ward's note books from time to time so as to follow his/her progress in school.
  •   Your ward should be encouraged to see pocket money intelligently. Excessive expenditure at the canteen is discouraged and view with disfavor.
  •   Students must not be sent to school if he/she is suffering from a contagious disease such as conjunctivitis, dermatitis, scabies etc.
  •   Students suffering from chronic diseases such as asthma epilepsy, rheumatic heart diseases etc. is advised to be under continuous medical supervision of a specialist. History of such illness must be written in the School Record Book, along with the prescribed treatment.
  •   You may make enquires or communicate to teachers, matters concerning your wards, through School Record Book (Space provided).
  •   Sections are allotted to students according to the alphabetical order of their names. No request for change of sections is entertained.
  •   Guardians abusing or assaulting any staff member of school will be asked to withdraw their wards from the school.
  •   The school would like guardians to periodically meet the Principal/Public Relation Officer to discuss their ward's progress and problems, if any. Guardians may meet teachers through the Principal/Public Relation Officer and must not enter class room for any purpose during school hours.
  •   A student failing in class for two consecutive years will not be readmitted. Re-admission of a student into the next school session is at the discretion of the and may be refused without staying any reason.
  •   Boys must keep their hair short and girls must make two bonds tied with red ribbon or use a red hair band in case of short hair.
  •   Students deliberately causing grievous injury to any other person in school will be summarily expelled from the school.
  •   Students caught adopting unfair means in an examination will not be allowed to continue with the examination. This offence, if repeated will lead to expulsion from the school.
  •   Students must attend at least 75% of the classes held in the session to be eligible to appear in the Annual/Board Examinations. Repeated or long absences without intimation of proper cause by guardian will lead to student's name being struck off the rolls.
  •   Guardians or their authorize representative may be allowed to take their wards from the school under their own arrangement. Students will not be allowed to leave early on their own.
  •   The school will arrange to send home seriously ill or injured students when required.
  •   Students will be allotted a particular House at the beginning of the session.
  •   Changing of class room between periods going for P.T., Library must be in complete silence and in an orderly manner.
  •   Waste paper, waste materials must be disposed off in the waste paper bins kept for the purpose.
  • Library rules of the school

    Students are advised to make full use of the school Library to develop a healthy habit of reading. The following rules are to be observed:-

  •   Students can borrow one book at a time from the Library for their general study.
  •   The maximum number of days for which book can be borrowed is 15 days.
  •   Fines may be levied on students on late return of books.
  •   Newspapers, Magazines and Pamphlets must be handled with care. If any student is found removing any article, picture etc. from any magazine or newspaper, disciplinary action would be taken against such student and he/she would be responsible for replacing the same.
  •   Current magazines, Newspapers etc. are not to be removed without prior approval of the Librarian. The previous issues of any magazine may be taken by the student for a maximum period of four days.
  •   Reference books will not be issued.
